The NHRA West Central Division is excited to unveil the details of the 2025 Division 5 ET Finals, being held September 11th - 14th, 2025 at Tri-State Raceway in Earlville, Iowa for the first time.
This year's event will feature four, exciting days of racing headlined by some of the best ET racers in the country and over $100,000 in total payouts, prizes, and contingency for our Sportsman competitors. In addition, the D5 Champions in Super Pro, Pro ET, Sportsman and ET Motorcycle will have the opportunity to travel to Las Vegas for the Nevada Nationals, participate in one-of-a-kind experiences, and vie for the title of World Champion.
New for 2025, will be the Sportsman Racer Appreciation Dinner, presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance and Tri-State Raceway on Friday Night, to be followed by the Race of Champion's Awards, Prize Drawings and live music. All racers and their families are invited to attend. On Saturday evening, the fun continues with a Top Bulb and Bottom Bulb Practice Tree Race, with more giveaways and the Scooter Raffle!
2025 will also mark a big change for the West Central ET Finals, with Super Pro moving to 1/8th-mile to match the updated format in Las Vegas at the Summit ET World Championships. In addition, the Index Classes that debuted in 2024 are expanding, adding a 5.30 category this year, and also an Index Team Championship trophy that will be awarded to the track with the most points earned during Index competition.
"The Summit ET Finals have been a staple of NHRA, grassroots racers for decades", Nick Duty, Division 5 Director, said. "The move to Tri-State Raceway and adding an extra day to this year's event has given us opportunity to create a bigger and better experience for our dedicated bracket racers with more off-track activities for the entire family. We're dedicated to making this an affordable, fun, can't-miss race."
The road to Earlville Vegas starts at your local NHRA member track this Spring. Join their Summit ET Points Series and get qualified. For more information on bracket programs in the West Central, visit our track's websites HERE.
